What forums would you like to see set up?

Will the newletter archives be moved here? I have just started going through them and would like to see them here, if possible. Thanks

Yes, we can move the newsletter archives over as well. They will exist in the Articles section.

Do you have any suggestions for the forum? I don't know what forums should be set up. If you are not a TAS Member there is almost nothing there!

What about tank journals for folks to post progress about a specific project they're building?

Great suggestion! I'll add it.

You made very quick work of that!

Thanks. I don't want to just copy the forums off my own site, so am asking the members to help build this one up.

Good point! Looked through your other forum and realized fish keep you very busy!

Hah, that they do! But I enjoy every minute of it. And I want this forum to be what the members want instead of a copy of my own forum that my members wanted.

Dena, why not just migrate all of them? Subsequently, collect usage frequency then archive the lowest ones.

I did that as a starting point. But, recognize that it is very sparse and may not meet the needs of the TAS Members.

Would it be possible to set up a section where people can list their 'For Sale' Items or is that not allowed here?

And perhaps a planted tank section? I do not run any planted tanks myself but I imagine that there are a lot of them out there. Just trying to think of things that will generate more areas of interest. All in all, the forum is coming along nicely. Great work Dena!

I would have to run this past the BOD first. Will add this request to my report at the meeting next weekend.

Another great suggestion Dan! I will setup a planted tank section :)

Well I'm new and not sure if my opinion matters much but most the other Forums I belong to have a "Selfies Photos" section. A place to post pictures of yourself, family and friends.

Welcome to our forum and website!

Of course your opinion matters. Everyone's opinion matters!

Feel free to introduce yourself and post photos in the Introductions and Greetings forum. And when posting about interests other than the aquarium hobby use the Off Topic forum.

Maybe a section to discus other aquarium inhabitants such as my cories or something else. I realize this is a Angelfish forum but how many people actually keep Angels all by them self? Breeding pairs of course being the exception.

I have added a new forum called Communities and Other Species to discuss the other inhabitants in our tanks.

How about a General Discussion forum? I have some questions about this and that and am unsure of where to post.

We do have a General Discussion Forum. Does it not cover what you need?

The General Forums are only Intro's,off topic and Aquarium news..............I'm asking about I guess just an " Angel Talk" forum. Nothing about genetic's,breeding etc.

You can use the Tank Journals for anything about your tank you'd care to discuss. But as you've requested a forum for Angel Talk, I will go ahead and add it.
