I would like an Avatar, but can't work out how to upload one.

I've found Member Actions > edit Profile > Edit Avatar. But once I get to this page I'm faced with the following :-

No Avatar Specified
Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
Do not use an avatarNote: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it.

and no option to select use/upload an avatar.

help please!

Welcome to TAS Ben!

Unfortunately due to the volume of spam attacks we've had to block photo uploads, including avatars, until you've posted on our site. That being said, now that you've posted, once the system catches up you will be able to upload your avatar of choice.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but hope you can understand.

Thanks Dan,
I'm trying to reduce the amount of time I spend on forums in general, but I'm sure there will still be plenty that I want to share.

Just curious, does the avatar have to be a picture of an Angel?

No, there is no requirement that your avatar be of an angel. But, you will find most of us do so as this is The Angelfish Society's website.

Welcome fred! Hope you enjoy our site.

Rob,
From the outstanding appearance you maintain in your shop, I'm surprised that you find any time for forums.
