I have 4 breeding pairs of angelfish(each in thier own tank).I have fry from one of the pairs in a 10 gallon tank and another batch in a 1.5 gallon tank.I know I have to move them into a 10 gallon, but what do I do with the next spawn?I plan on selling or giving them to the LFS, but what do I do in the meanwhile? How many actual tanks do I need set up?When can I mix some together?Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Unless you are attempting to identify hidden genes in your pairs, you can combine spawns based on size. As far as how many growout tanks are necessary, there are many variables. Size of spawns, number of reproducing pairs, length of time until sold/moved, size of individual fish are the primary ones. There really is no definite answer to this question. But you will need at minimum a 55 gallon or two or three...lol
