Mientras continuamos con la presentación de las distintas vértebras, aquí van unas fotillas de otra disección que se realizó. En este caso pertenecía a un escalar de 8 cm de longitud estándar, en ellas podemos apreciar las formaciones óseas que se han ido comentando.
Estas otras disecciones sirven para comparar y establecer la constitución general de las vértebras de nuestros Escalares.

La norma generalizada durante las últimas vértebras, sigue siendo la disminución del tamaño de ambas espinas, Neural y Hemal.

Con respecto a sus canales sufren una ligera disminución en el tamaño.

El ángulo formado por las espinas se va disminuyendo y su tendencia al igual que en las anteriores es hacia la zona caudal.

Las vértebras dibujadas presentan en sus espinas Neural y Hemal formas lineales, casi sin curvaturas en las mismas, sin embargo se ha podido observar que no siempre se cumple esta condición, dándose el caso de ejemplares en los que sus Espinas y en especial las últimas, presentan curvas o deformidades.

En relación a las proporciones de las medidas siguen los patrones mencionados anteriormente, las espinas continúan reduciéndose, los canales se mantienen más o menos y el ángulo formado por las espinas continúa cerrándose de forma perceptible.

Pasear por este fascinante mundo del interior de nuestros Escalares, nos depara innumerables satisfacciones, la realización de diferentes disecciones nos ofrecen imágenes que en otras apenas habiámos podido ver, y sobre todo establecer comparativas que fijen determinados prototipos en la constitución de los mismos.

Una de las últimas disecciones (en este caso un Escalar Mármol), presentaba una excepción en la consticución de la tercera vértebra, al carecer del Soporte Hemal, apenas me lo podía creer. Por ello se considera interesante seguir trabajando, de tal forma que se pueda verificar no solo los prototipos de formaciones óseas, si no incluso determinar en algún momento si lo que estamos viendo es una excepción a la regla.

Continuamos nuestro recorrido en la Columna Vertebral con la vigesimosexta vértebra.

Esta vértebra sigue con la disminución de ambas Espinas, Hemal y Neural, así mismo podemos ver un descenso importante en sus canales.

El ángulo formado por las espinas sigue disminuyendo, para este ejemplar vemos que incluso el ángulo ha bajado de los 90º.

Pasamos a la vigesimoséptima vértebra, esta es la antepenúltima de la columna vertebral del Pterophyllum scalare. Esta vértebra la colocamos de forma independiente, ya que no guarda las formas parecidas al grupo anterior.

Continúa la disminución en tamaño de las espinas Neural y Hemal, manteniendo los tamaños para sus canales.

Entre la vértebra 27 y 28, al igual que entre la vértebra 28 y 29, se presentan formaciones óseas, se llaman Epurales si están entre las espinas Neurales y Paripurales si se hayan entre las espinas Hemales, más adelante representaremos las formaciones óseas completas de este fragmento final de la columna vértebral.

Vértebra 28

Esta vértebra también optamos por colocarla de forma separada al resto de vértebras, por presentar diferencias significativas en su constitución con el resto del esqueleto.

Para plasmar las partes óseas de este tramo final, se hacía necesario retomar las disecciones a fin de fijar las formaciones estándar de los mismos, entre las disecciones se presentan algunas ligeras diferencias respecto a los tamaños y alguna forma en su constitución, sin embargo no deja lugar a dudas las piezas que conforman este tramo final.

Vértebra vigésimo séptima, penúltima vértebra conocida como vértebra preural.

Hemos comentado que las espinas de las vértebras 27,28 y 29 se hayan unidas formando todo un conjunto final con las placas Hipurales y Epurales, como veremos posteriormente.

En la vértebra 27 las espinas ya se presentaban en forma de placa.

Con la vértebra 28 la espina Neural se reduce drásticamente, tomando la espina Hemal la forma de placa, teniendo además esa lámina que la recorre al igual que sucedía con las primeras vértebras de la zona caudal (14, 15, 16....).

En la vértebra 28 finalizan los canales tanto el Neural como el Hemal.
