If you're in that real cold stuff....

....be safe out there. The lows are well below zero, and the wind chills are brutal. Careful folks....

Indeed! I've seen many a day of -20 to -40 degree temps with wind chills that push the mercury to where bare skin will freeze in a short amount of time. If you have to be outside cover up well and get back indoors often!

Stay warm and be careful if you are in the deep freeze area.

So, has the deep freeze ended yet? For my area we have highs in the 40s and lows just below freezing. Fairly normal as in just a few weeks the start of bareroot season and cold weather gardening begins

Well we are out of the deep freeze and hit the mid 40s earlier in the week. Now we are in an up and down mode with heavy wind and snow mixed in. Can't wait until spring.

We had high wind and heavy rain fall most of the day today and a tree fell over on power lines this morning, so power outage for a short time.

Glad to hear the deep freeze has past.
