Black Lace Pearlscale

Non-wild alleles that interact to form this phenotype:
Dark (D), Pearlscale (p)

A black lace pearlscale is a black lace with two alleles for the recessive pearlscale trait.  It has the genotype:

D/+ - p/p.

Pearlscale does not modify the expression of the black lace phenotype.  It changes the shape and alignment of the scales to make them more reflective of light.  However, pearlscale does not show up as well on darker phenotypes such as a black lace angelfish as it does on lighter varieties such as gold.
