Chocolate Black Blushing (Velvet)
Multiple Locus Phenotype

Non-wild alleles that interact to form this phenotype:
Dark (D), Stripeless (S), Smokey (Sm)

A chocolate black blushing has the genotype:

D/D - S/S - Sm/Sm
D/g – S/S – Sm/Sm
D/Gm – S/S – Sm/Sm

This is a very dark angelfish, and will have the smooth appearance of a black blushing (velvet), and thus may also be referred to as chocolate black “velvet.”
