Halfblack Ghost
Multiple Locus Phenotype

Non-wild alleles that interact to form this phenotype:

• Halfblack (h)

• Stripeless (S)

 

 A halfblack ghost has two alleles for halfblack, and one allele for stripeless.  It has the genotype:

h/h – S/+

 A halfblack ghost will not have the vertical midbody stripe of a halfblack (h/h), but will have the vertical stripe through the eye.  It will have horizontal striations in the fins and the lace patterning in the fins as seen in a halfblack.
