Chromosome – Chromosomes occur in pairs, o= ne inherited from each parent.  Chromosomes contain = the genetic information for each individual. 
•<= /span>DNA – DNA is a long coiled molecule that makes up a chromosome.
•<= /span>Gene – A segment of DNA that codes for a specific trait.
•<= /span>Locus – Location on a chromosome where a particular gene occurs.
